Client work is how Duodode operates day to day. Every engagement is a client project until the business evolves into something else. For me, client work is both the engine of the business and a discipline that sharpens my thinking.

  • A scope that lets the team ship with execution intact

What I avoid

  • Clients who pay for Fluff
  • Endless rounds driven by indecision
  • Scope that treats the agency as cheap labor rather than as a partner

The tension

Client work can turn into a ceiling if every hour worked is a dollar earned. I am aware of this. The answer is Systems, Productized Services, and careful scaling, not more volume at the same model.
