Early Visual Memory
Mee belongs to the early visual memory of Duodode for me. She has been there since the earlier stretch of the team, and that matters because early collaborators leave fingerprints on the taste of a place before anyone is fully aware of it.
She is a brand designer, but I do not remember her through the title first. I remember her through color, proportion, sketching instinct, and a way of seeing that makes visual decisions feel less accidental.
What Her Eye Does
Some designers can arrange a screen. Mee carries something deeper than that. She has a strong feel for color and a sketching ability that gives her ideas a lived texture before they become polished. That is why she belongs near Branding, Taste, and Design Philosophy in my mind.
Her visual sense helped shape many of the early works around us. Not in a flashy, self-promotional way. More in the quiet way that someone can shape the surface of a brand until the whole place starts looking more coherent because they were there.
Working Together
One of the clearest shared references is the current Duodode website. Working on that with Mee and Jack made her role especially visible to me. The collaboration made it obvious how much of good visual work happens before the final screen: color decisions, rough directions, sketches, restraint, elimination.
Tools like Figma are only surfaces for that kind of judgment. Mee's value is the judgment itself.
Why She Matters
She belongs here because she helped shape the visual layer of one of the most important working environments in my life. That alone gives her a permanent place in the network.
