I do not keep this book for complexity. I keep it for atmosphere. It has that simple, searching quality that makes direction feel almost spiritual without becoming heavy.
The idea I keep from this book is that a life can have a signal inside it, and that paying attention to it matters. That is why the book lives next to Future Orientation, Wonder, and Becoming for me. Even when the language is gentle, the underlying question is serious: are you walking toward the life that is actually yours.
