Future of Humanity
Future of Humanity
The future of humanity is one of the questions I keep an open tab on. It sits at the intersection of technology, Space, Philosophy, and Ambition. For a builder focused on the long view, the question is not abstract. It is part of how I think about direction.
Why it interests me
- It pulls together everything he cares about: science, philosophy, technology, meaning
- It forces long-term thinking instead of quarterly thinking
- It is the natural home for Existential Reflection
- It sharpens the case for Ambition that is not small
Where I encounter it
- Science Fiction books and series like For All Mankind
- Video Essays from creators like Kurzgesagt, Cleo Abram, Olisunvia, Sisyphus 55
- Substack and The New York Times coverage of AI, climate, space, and tech
- AI Tools as a real, daily data point about where things are going
How it shapes my building
Watching the future unfold in real time reinforces my bias toward tools, systems, and companies that compound. Duodode is being built inside an economy where AI Automation, Automation Workflows, and AI-Assisted Development are already changing what a small team can do. My job is to stay sharp enough to keep using that leverage.
The personal angle
I do not want to be a spectator to the next decade. The question of where humanity is going is, for me, partly a question about what I personally intends to build inside it.
