DaVinci Resolve Crash
DaVinci Resolve Crash
I remember the DaVinci Resolve crash because it turned a normal editing session into a stubborn technical problem that would not let go. I was working in the Fusion page when the whole thing broke, and from there it became less about editing and more about refusing to lose to the software.
I had to dig through files, delete cache, and reset the computer again and again, something like five or six times before the situation finally settled. That repetition is what made it memorable. Troubleshooting always sounds small when retold, but in the moment it can become strangely consuming. Every failed restart makes the problem feel more personal than it should.
Where I was in life mattered because I was still building confidence with tools like DaVinci Resolve. Experiences like that are frustrating, but they also force a certain kind of seriousness. Either I back away from the tool, or I stay with the problem long enough to understand it better.
What it taught me was simple. Competence is not only the smooth part of using a tool. It is also the willingness to stay calm when something breaks, dig into the ugly parts of the system, and keep going until it works again. I still remember the frustration, but I also remember the satisfaction of not giving up on it.
