Vietnam

Vietnam is where I grew up. It is my origin in the literal sense and one of the layers underneath the person building in Dubai today. A lot of my practical, results-oriented view of work was shaped there.

What it gave me

• Exposure to Asian business culture, which is practical, effort-heavy, and outcome-oriented.
• A baseline respect for money and the real work it takes to build it.
• A cultural and linguistic grounding in Vietnamese as a first language.
• An early sense that ambition needs substance, not noise.

The shaping effect

I did not absorb a fluffy, aesthetic view of business. I absorbed an operating view: effort produces outcomes, outcomes produce leverage, leverage produces freedom. That current runs through my no-BS temperament and my execution-first mindset today.

Vietnam as a continuing thread

Even as my base is now Dubai, Vietnam is not the past. It is one of the continuing layers of Identity and Home. I do not distance myself from it. It shows up in how I work, how I value work, and how I carry myself.
