Vietnamese
Vietnamese
Vietnamese is my native language and the language of my origin. It is the first layer of how I think, feels, and connects to Vietnam. While English has become my working language for Entrepreneurship, Tech, and global output, Vietnamese remains the private substrate underneath.
Native ground
I grew up in Vietnam, which means Vietnamese is not a learned language for me. It is the language he absorbed before I could choose. It shapes instinct, humor, family, and the cultural texture I carry even while operating abroad from Dubai.
What it carries
Vietnamese carries things English cannot easily reach for me:
- Family and personal relationships
- Asian Business Culture nuance
- Native humor and timing
- A connection to how people actually live and speak back home
Relationship to English
I do not treat Vietnamese and English as competitors. They cover different parts of my life. Vietnamese is origin, roots, and internal texture. English is ambition, output, and reach. Together they give me range.
Intellectual Vietnamese content
I read and watches Vietnamese thinking too. Spiderum is one of the channels that matters here, offering Vietnamese intellectual content on philosophy, psychology, culture, and ideas. It keeps my intellectual life bilingual rather than outsourced entirely to English.
Connection to Dubai
Living in Dubai and building in English does not mean erasing Vietnamese. If anything, distance sharpens my awareness of it. The language is part of the identity I carry into every room.
Connection to my system
Being bilingual is Leverage. It means two channels of input, two cultural lenses, and access to both Vietnamese and global conversations. In a world where most founders operate in one language, two is an asset.
