Language Learning

Language Learning

Language learning is one of my long-running personal projects. I see it not as a hobby but as part of Self-Development: a test of Consistency, a leverage move, and a way to expand how I think and reaches the world.

How I frame it

For me, language learning is:

  • An act of Consistency over time
  • A form of Self-Development
  • A way to expand cultural and intellectual range
  • A long-term compounding asset

It is not urgent. It is structural. A language you can operate in at 30 is a channel open for the rest of your life.

My languages

Method

My approach is practical and built on repetition:

  • Daily Duolingo for Spanish
  • Continuous exposure to English through TV Series, YouTube, Books, and Essays
  • Vietnamese through life, family, and content like Spiderum

I do not chase complex systems. He shows up.

Language as thinking

I treat language as more than communication. It is the medium of thought. Sharper language means sharper thinking. That is why I want better Eloquence, Articulation, and Precision in Speech in English even though I am already fluent. Fluency is the floor. Command is the goal.

Connection to my system

Language learning maps directly to Build and Ship. Start before ready. Practice daily. Accept messy early output. Let compounding do the work. It also ties to ROI-Driven Thinking: each new language adds real optionality and reach, not just a personal label.

Why it matters for a builder

I am building Duodode and operating across Dubai globally. Language range means client range, market range, and cultural range. In a world that talks a lot, people who can speak sharply in multiple languages have an edge.
