Language Learning

Language Learning

Language Learning matters to me because every new language changes what the world feels like. It is not only about vocabulary. It is about access, rhythm, confidence, and the ability to move across different rooms without feeling locked out of them.

That idea became more vivid when I met John. He was one of the first real polyglots I had known up close, and seeing that in ordinary conversation made the whole subject feel less abstract. It showed me that languages are not side hobbies. They open different social worlds and different ways of thinking.

My relationship with English made this obvious first, but the deeper lesson is broader. Language learning compounds. It sharpens listening, expression, and cultural sensitivity all at once.

I connect it strongly to Global Perspective because the two keep feeding each other.
