Vu Loc is one of those friendships that never stayed in only one register. We have spent a lot of time playing games together, especially PUBG-type sessions and other casual gaming time, but the conversations around that were often about life, work, and business rather than only the game itself.
He is a Vietnamese businessman, and that practical side is visible. He feels family-centered, careful with money, and grounded in a way I trust.
What Stands Out
What I respect about him is not flashy ambition. It is steadiness. He is careful, frugal, and serious about the real world. That makes him feel close to Money and Entrepreneurship for me, not as abstract topics but as daily posture.
We also ate together often, which matters more than it sounds. Meals change conversation. They make it easier for someone to become part of your ordinary life rather than only your event life.
On Stage
Loc also belongs to a very different layer of memory: public events. He was the MC for YEC The Connection 2023, and he handled it well. The same thing showed up again in YEC Club Pitch, where he played a major role in the event's success through strong stage coordination. I still remember how unexpectedly sharp that performance felt.
That side of him belongs close to Public Speaking. It revealed another register entirely: not only businessman, not only gaming friend, but someone who can help hold a stage together when it matters.
