Who He Is
Duc Anh is one of my long-time friends and now works in banking. He belongs to the side of friendship built through years of ordinary time rather than one defining story.
The Kind of Friendship That Does Not Need Framing
We met in high school and just kept spending time together. Games, drinks, matches, group hangouts, time at each other's places. The friendship never needed a speech around it. It held because it kept holding.
There is something valuable in that. A lot of life is shaped by simple repetition, and Duc Anh belongs to that layer for me.
What Stays Steady
He has always felt grounded. Easygoing on the surface, naturally skilled when a game begins, and serious about family in a way that gives him a stable center.
That family orientation is one of the things I respect most about him. It gives the friendship a different weight. He is not drifting. He seems to know what kind of life he wants to build, and that connects him to the quieter side of What Lasts.
