Essay
What keeps Jobs interesting to me is the fusion of intensity and taste. A lot of ambitious people know how to push. Fewer know how to push while holding a very specific standard for what something should feel like.
That is why this book matters in my world. It makes visible the connection between Ambition and Taste, between product vision and the refusal to accept mediocrity as finished work. I do not need to romanticize everything about him to find that combination instructive.
