Motion Design
Motion Design
Motion design, for me, is part of communication, not decoration. I treat animation as how a product feels, not as a layer of polish added at the end.
My stance
- Motion is part of the product, not a finish
- It should support clarity and feel, not distract from them
- Good motion is invisible until it is not there
How I work with it
- Designing motion intent inside Figma
- Implementing interactive motion with GSAP and Framer Motion
- Using Rive for state-driven, interactive animations
- Producing linear video motion in DaVinci Resolve where needed
- Tying motion to product logic, not just aesthetics
Why it fits my design philosophy
Intentional Design requires intention in every layer, including motion. Timeless Design requires restraint. Consistent Design requires shared motion language. Motion gets held to the same standard as typography or color.
Where it shows up
- Duodode product and website work
- Brand and marketing deliverables
- Interaction Design patterns inside real apps
- Video Editing output when motion lives in a linear format
