Interaction Design
Interaction Design
Interaction design is how I think about the behavior of a product, not just its appearance. It is where design, motion, and code meet.
My stance
- Interaction is part of the product, not a layer on top
- Feel matters as much as layout
- Every transition and state should have a reason
- Over-animated UI am as weak as under-designed UI
How I work on it
- Defining intent in Figma
- Implementing in Framer Motion, GSAP, and Rive
- Working it into components inside Next.js and Frontend Frameworks
- Testing the actual feel in the browser, not in a mock
Why it fits my design philosophy
Intentional Design requires intention at every click. Consistent Design requires interaction patterns that share a grammar. Interaction design is where those principles get proven.
Where it shows up
- Duodode product work
- Branding systems that extend into UI
- Motion Design tied to product state
- Client deliverables that need to feel precise, not generic
