Hendrixpedia

This project exists because scattered notes are not enough. I wanted an archive that could hold a person in motion: not only facts, but work, ideas, taste, memory, habits, influences, and the structure around them. Hendrixpedia is that attempt.

Why this archive exists

A personal wiki can easily become two bad things. It can become a storage bin with no shape, or it can become a self-branding exercise pretending to be depth. I want neither. The point of this archive is to create a durable body of writing that is useful to read and useful to think with.

That means the pages have to do more than define terms. They have to reveal a world. The reader should be able to move from Hendrix into Duodode, from there into Philosophy, from there into the media, places, habits, and questions that keep the whole thing alive.

What it holds

At the center is identity: the person, the recurring traits, the inner labels, and the ambitions underneath the visible work. Around that sits the venture layer, especially Duodode, where strategy, design, code, and business value are forced into the same room. Around that again sits the intellectual and cultural layer: philosophy, reading, YouTube, television, science fiction, curiosity about space, and the more private patterns that shape taste.

The result is not meant to be exhaustive in the sterile sense. It is meant to be coherent.

How it is built

The archive has three layers. Raw Context is the source of truth. The markdown articles are the chapter layer. The site is the reading surface that presents the material as a table of contents rather than a pile of folders.

That separation matters. Raw can stay compressed and factual. The chapters can stay reflective and readable. The site can stay navigable.

Why it matters to me

I like systems that compound. If a good conversation disappears, if a useful realization stays trapped in a note, or if an idea never gets linked to the rest of the thinking around it, the value leaks away. Hendrixpedia is an attempt to stop that leakage.

It is also a forcing function for clarity. Writing a page well means I have to understand what something really is in my life. If I cannot explain why a person, idea, habit, or project belongs here, then I probably have not thought about it clearly enough yet.
