YEC

YEC

YEC was not just a university club to me. It was one of the places where responsibility became real. Leadership, planning, hosting, speaking, and carrying something with other people all became much more concrete there.

That is why I connect it so strongly to Van Anh. A lot of what I remember about YEC is tied to shared pressure, shared work, and the kind of behind-the-scenes effort that only becomes visible when an event finally works.

The club also mattered for language. It gave me a stage for English and Articulation in a more public way than I had experienced before. It moved both from private ability into something lived in front of other people.

Some organizations matter because they produce credentials. YEC mattered because it produced experience.
